Geoff Britton

Geoff Britton (born Geoffrey Britton, 1 August 1943, in Lewisham, South East London) is a rock drummer known for his work with Paul McCartney's Wings[1] from 1974 to 1975, where he was featured on the Venus and Mars album,

Britton was one of the original members of the Progressive rock band East of Eden which formed in Bristol in 1967. He stayed into the early 1970s and made several albums but the group achieved only modest success. After leaving Wings in 1975 Britton was a member of Manfred Mann's Earth Band from 1978 to 1979, playing on the Angel Station album.[2] In 1977 he was in the 'supergroup' Rough Diamond,[3] recording in London's Roundhouse Studios. In the early 1980s, he joined the power pop group The Keys, whose one album was produced by Joe Jackson.[4]

In 1989 he moved to Spain and began playing in the band "The Rockets".[5] From 1999 to 2004 he played with "Black Diamond". In 2008 he played some stints with "The Brink Band". [6]
